Having reel time and sustainable data is one of the major need to better control
malaria disease. In Benin, providing real time data to policies makers for judicious
decision is the main threat to the efficiency of several malaria control programme.
This TDR/WHO proposal aims to assess the value of the Disease Data Management
System (DDMS) for sustainability, ease of use, integration of data, data mining,
reporting and supporting timely and informed decisions. The network consists of
Three institutes; i) 2 from Benin (NMCP and IRSP) and 1 from United Kingdom
(LSTM). Each institute participation is relevant to the achievement of the proposal
goals. This proposal will an obvious in long term contribute to strengthen capacity of
the two local institute in their mission to provide sufficiently consistent data to
policies to be able to make the right decision at the right time strategically and
operationally, quality information is required. This proposal will be a starter for
further collaboration between the three institutes partners. |
